Well, the female carving is coming on, but its at times like this i realise, so much more should have been worked out at an earlier stage… the model at 10″ high, will work in bronze, but i think she is lacking in stone, and at this scale it should be far more developed, and a hell of a lot more subtle….. still money and time and all that… so her she is, any suggestions, comments, help…. dont bother with the ‘start again comment’, i’m pritty much there already, but i have a week to finish her and deliver, so no chose…..
the other works, the bronze banana, well this is a bit of fun really,one of my friends fell head over heels in love with a french woman in india. he gave her jewels and silver, trinkets and even a love hart, i got the distinct impression she didnt feel the same, on parting she gave him a banana!… for some reason this occasion stuck with me?
the other work, i’m developing my portraiture, in the vain hope of finding a method of making money at this game…. it had better happen soon!
